    bending the door on 1100

I guess your is different than mine. The black plastic forms around the door frame. The weather strip attaches to the door edge. The clip is 1/2" ( that holds the weather strip in place ) , the attaching soft seal is 3/4" ( attached to the clip ) When my door closes it squeezes the soft...

    bending the door on 1100

How do you think the dealer service dept. is going to fix it? They will pressure fit it in to meet the seal. They will not order a new door because of a small misalignment issue. By the time you drink a cup of coffee in the showroom they will be running it out the back door ready to load on...

    bending the door on 1100

The curvature of the adjoining surfaces seems correct. Just bowed out a bit. Doesn't seem to serious. Block of wood near the latch and pressure in on the top very carefully. The glass is in the rubber molding so it will flex with the plastic outer surface. There should be bolts to separate...

    Snorkel Air Intake

Good point on the transmission. Will have to check it closely. Why would it not make sense to move the entire filter to the top ? Pepr, why would it not be a closed system if piped directly to the top ? I go through streams since the dnr is so picky about permits and specs. At this point the...

    Snorkel Air Intake

Do they take the filter out of the lower unit ? Will the lower rubber extension let in water if it gets that high ? The top filter looks like it is taken from an older tractor setup. I would think it would make more sense to take the original complete canister and move it to the top near the...

    New RTV1100 owner

cpsseals; Love the pictures... especially the security dog and the moose ! Beautiful landscape and friends to share. I never heard of a straight blade on a RTV. You must post a picture of it. I am sure others are curious also. You are very lucky to find a used 1100. I looked for what seems...

    RTV 1100 , door glass & Filters

Doors fit just fine. I don't have those 2x12 pressure relief points. Do they actually work when the windows are closed ? I have a air relief from a car door. I thought about mounting it but another forum stated it was not adequate. Probably would not hurt to cut it in. I looked at a new...

    RTV 1100 , door glass & Filters

The windshield does tip out with two handles. A pain to open and close just to shut the doors. Besides shocks open it six inches.... in cold weather not desireable. I know the glass is around 650 or so. the question is will this glass fit my existing door ? Several dealer inquiries but no...

    RTV 1100 , door glass & Filters

Mine is three years old and time for the filters to be changed. I can't believe they get $56.00 for the A/c filter and thirty some for the cabin filter. There has to be some aftermarket or comparable fit element on the market. I have the solid windows in my doors. Does anyone know if the...

    buying a used rtv 1100

1100s are pretty rare in the for sale ads. Find one with low hours in good condition and display some hundred dollar bills. I would not be fussy about year if a deal came along. Good luck in your search.

    "Slightly" Used RTV 1100

With new listing at almost 19k plus shipping and tax that sounds like a deal. I know dealers in my area are not cutting prices and were within 100 dollars on written cash purchase contracts. I have no idea what the mark up is on this equipment but it can't be much. One would think they would...

    3 Pt hitch for RTV

I viewed that site before. Fairly simple idea. My Allis Chalmers D-15 has a similar setup because it was not designed as a three point hitch. A modified snow plow mount with extended movable arms and a small hydraulic ram. The problem lies in the fact there is no way to introduce a pto shaft...

    Happy Girls

Know what you mean. Beautiful dogs ! We have a soft coated wheaten terrier who also loves to ride. They catch on so fast, when you put clothing on to go outdoors he blocks the door to be sure he can ride along. They are a great comfort.

    Fallen

Nice Jeep.... Looks like someone takes real good care. My 94 still has some issues before it gets a coat of paint. With the addition of the RTV it doesn't get too much use but I still like having it around. Cheap fun for 1500 investment.

    what range when

Congrats. on the new machine. Put a few hours on it and it will feel like a nice comfortable shirt. Your not going to hurt anything if you select too high a gear for the application. It has a bypass and when you run out of speed, drop a gear. The hydro part is very forgiving. have fun.
