Right rear wheel locked up ‘21 rtv1140x. 129hrs

I purchased a 2021 RTV 1140 X it was having some potential issues diagnosed as the hydrostatic transmission. I took it apart thing look like it had 129 hours on it so I put it back together. The thing drives but not over 15 miles an hour when I take my foot off the break the right rear wheel locks up and the right rear wheel is noticeably more worn. I raised it up, put it in gear and the right rear wheel does not turn but the left rear wheel does I can’t force the wheel to turn at all. I’ve checked the parking brake. Not sure if it’s locked up

Any ideas of where to check? I can’t seem to find anything online to lead me in the right direction and this is my first Kabota.

When you drive it does the right rear wheel hub get hot? Sounds to me like you have a brake seized up on the right rear. Not an uncommon problem. Use the search function on the forum

the brakes are internal. no external brakes and the hub is free. started to take it apart but the axle can move a little in the hub so its not fozen.

The parking brake and piston are on the drivers side. So is the diff lock lever. I f diff lock were on would it lock the rear axle from spiinning in neutral

You should feel heat from friction if the brake is seized. The actuating mechanism can seize up and cause this. No the diff lock shouldn't

Need to confirm what transmission model you have. Will you take a pic with the bed up looking down on the transmission?

Spent all day on it the connecting lovers that attach up and down to the piston on the driver side were frozen. It appeared to free up the wheels when I got them knocked loose but now the right side is tied again the arm may just be in the wrong position. I’ll take a couple pictures and send them to you. Thank you.

OK it was the lovers 🤣 the upper one is still a little sticky but I’m hoping prevent and heat will work it out. I’m the mean time I’m going to add an additional return spring from the rear to make sure it sits back. The local Kabota guys thought that was ok? It won’t be super strength just help that last 5 degrees to release brakes. Have to dial back the dynamic brake as little but she runs and it wasn’t7k$ for a hydrostatic pump the dealer quoted🙏. Tore it apart to find it looked like new inside. Learning allot✌️

It still won’t rack over 15 mph and the static brake hits hard. Is there another adjustment other than the one at the cam at the rear. It just hits so hard. Feels like the thing is dragging an anchor. More pressure? It wouldn’t climb the hill up to my house in high. Full throttle🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I added a xtra spring to the larger brake lever( rear driver I believe). It’s still sticky it rolls fine in neutral, park brake off. But the hydro brake hits hard on release of accelerator. I loosened up the pressure release plunger( my terminology is rough). And I thought it should remove the hydro brake hitting so hard. Not sure why it’s so abrupt or how to ease it up. Suggestions?

What you need to do is either learn to slowly release the peddle or get a coast valve. There is an adjustment that can be made but the coast valve works wonders. Use the search function and you should find plenty of info and pics. Search for coast valve

Several of us at work use our own 1100s and since the "X" models came out around 2016 the coast valve is no longer needed. Sorry if that opinion is out of place.

There is a pressure unload valve adjustment on the passenger side that it supposed to release pressure under acceleration. I’m confused over this system of dynamic brake and mechanical brake. The dynamic brake and how to adjust it is my stalling point. I have the manual just not enough ink to print it all. Looking for a many suggestions that simplify what I need to do. Thank you for all of your responses I’m learning just not quite there✌️🇺🇸
