Pine Grosbeaks in NE

Jay just so you know, THE SNOW DANCE WORKED. At least 6" on the ground here by the Dougster. This will keep him out of the peanut butter jar for a while.

I'll tell ya what if it keeps snowing like this Doug is going to have to trade in his plow for one of these.

Doug started snowing in Foxboro at 12:00 by 1:00 when I left there was already an inch on the ground. Took almost an hour to get bach here. Yes all the fair weather drivers are out. The radio is still claiming 6-10" before it is over. Looks like it maybe a double pusher for you. :letitsnow:

Looks like Jay's snow dance did the trick. :respect:

Houston, we have a double pusher!!!

Jay - You can stop dancing now!!! I've got my double!!! :thumb:

Dougster:

I just got in from plowing my driveway. I lucked out-some individuals who like me (a rare occurance) secretively and freely spread quite a bit of sand on my driveway before this event really got started. The wood ashes I previously spread on my driveway only succeeded in making my driveway more smooth and slick. I was worried my weighted R-1's might slip and slide with this event. The sand really helped. So far we have had 9.0". It has started to taper off at 7:30 PM. The last time I looked around (5:30 PM) at radar the tailend of this storm was in Syracuse, NY. I would estimate your snow should be ending around 10:00 PM. One more push :thumb:. You will be working on Sunday. The wind will keep drifting everything back after you plow. I hope your equipment holds up- Jay

His equipment better hold up Jay it's brand new. Heck the paint isn't even worn on the plow yet.

Dougster's constant complaining about how poor he is motivated me to do the "Full Monty" dance  I think I may have frost nip where the "sun don't shine":moon3: , but at least the Dougster can get that Filet o' Fish and a Cheeseburger at McGutburgers for surf 'n turf.

I think Dougster will be complaining about his equipment on Monday.

Why did my font change?

Well after looking at the news and talking to my wife I'd say you did a good job. :thumb: I'm not sure if I will make it back down here on Monday or not. They are talking a wopper up by me, for the weekend.

Not sure why the font changed, gotta be Dougs fault though--Ed

Double I wasa just outside and you maybe in for a triple. :letitsnow: :letitsnow: :letitsnow: :letitsnow: :letitsnow::letitsnow::letitsnow:
Nah... I'm betting a double. National Weather Service (or maybe Jay) will confirm that for me tomorrow.

Meanwhile, my clients are all happy and I am done for the night. I blew off a couple of "emergency" calls from non-clients until tomorrow. I'm not doing a driveway I've never seen, measured or photographed in the dark. No way Jose'! :badidea:

New stuff can fail too ya know! I'm thinking I need a full back-up redundant plow! :) And for good luck, I'll make it a Boss V-plow! :thumb: It uses the same wiring harness and mount. Just gotta plug in a different control head. :)

I got over 9.5" of snow last night. It snowed spritzed for awhile after I finished plowing. I believe Saturday's storm will be starting later probably early Sunday morning:waiting: . It appears right now that the storm track will throw the whole snow to sleet to rain and back mix at south central and eastern NE. Western and northern NE will see more snow especially the higher elevations. Far western and northern NE will probably see all snow. This storm is really going to develop when the low reforms over the coast/ocean. It will be seriously windy. I think I need to adjust the dance- I want all snow:letitsnow: . As a weather geek I will keep watching this coming event. My superiors are "ok" with my spending time at work looking at data today.
