It's not like that Paul. Despite having an empty 'frig and an empty cupboard... My daughter wanted to get me some Carhartt coveralls for Christmas, but they were all out of Extra-Short, Extra-Dumpy. :(Dougster

I left you three pairs at Bob's discount center in Vernon.. Give your daughter directions to this store,.

Dougster: I call it the "POWERFUL PEAR SHAPE". Been There, Done That - Jay ;)

PS: There is still a lot of energy in these Pacific systems as evidenced by the midwest tornadoes. There could be some thunderstorms embedded in the rain cells and there will be a lot more rain than I previously thought (>1" total). Rather than periods of light snow at night there might be some freezing rain/rain in the higher elevations and more northerly areas of NE. I am now looking at some data for my traveling friends. Jay
Looks like near record high temperatures in my area today. That's good for me 'cause it will get rid of the very last of those snowpiles... even the ones sitting in relative shade... and will keep my $3/gallon heating oil use at a minimum. :thumb: Some rain will help as well, but freezing rain buys me nothing.

I am ready for the next big one Jay!!! Bring on that new snow!!!

Had a semi annual physical yesterday. I have to lose 100 lbs and have at least 30 of this 100 off by July 2 at the next physical. Now you've been to my home several times and know what size I am.. Most of my clothes happen to be carharts, but if you look closely inside the carharts, it reads, made for carharts by Omar the tent maker.,

Well, I could stand to lose a good 45-55 pounds myself... and more like 75 if you're talking about really getting back to my fighting/running weight of a mere 20 years ago. Oh those were the days!!! ;) It sure is tough getting old and dumpy.

But okay... You keep your Omar Specials and I will keep searching for my Extra-Short, Extra-Dumpy size around here. :)

Sorry that I have not posted earlier with all the wonderful weather systems interacting out there :sorry:. I just want to let people know that I am back on the air :tiphat: . I got shanghied by our School's "Band of Two" nursing staff and 911'd to our local hospital Tuesday due to respiratory shutdown again  :shitHitsFan: . I just got out of the hospital this afternoon and I need to start looking at the weather data again. From what I could glean from what information that was available to me while I was hospitalized, it looks like my snowdance worked for the Dougster this time! I will be back shortly. The bad news for me is that I will not be working for awhile (again) :unhappy: , but I will be able to maintain my weather geek duties 24/7  . I think I will be providing weather information to our local ambulence service following conversations with the ambulence crew  . Jay :letitsnow:

Welcome back Jay!!! But now I'm concerned that your infamous snowdances in the altogether may have contributed to your illness, hospitalization... and now an inability to work. As much as I need and appreciate the fruits of your snowdances, it might not be a good idea to continue the practice at this time. :(

Please stay well.

It is not the snow dances that make me sick; but maybe others who may happen to observe :eek2:  :yuk: :puke1: It is something in the environment that apparently triggers this thing :shitHitsFan: . The good thing is that it does not appear to be related to my manure pile, compost heap, the dirt moving I do with my tractor, cutting wood, working around my property, etc.(everything is still frozen and/or covered with snow). It appears more a function of something floating around where I work. The buildings where I work housed a lot of horses and cows for around 100 years before the buildings were "converted" to human use. I will be undergoing a lot of tests the next few weeks to try to determine what is the causal relationships :( . It appears a lot of my blood will be going to Japan for tests. I am back on prednisone again which gives me a lot of energy as well as :pat: . I think the NE region will be getting some plowable snow this Sunday through Monday with more snow later in the week. Well, once again... my GF understands everything you just said and I understand next to nothing. That's the difference between nurses and engineers. All I can say is please try to stay well and don't scare us again.

Also consider trying some Starbucks :starbucks: Coffee. No matter what is wrong with me, it always seems to help! :thumb:

Paul- There is this doctor in Japan who can somehow figure out immunicological reactions from bloodwork. My pulmonologist knows him and has been consulting with him ever since I first got sick this summer. I even think he already has a "piece of me". Until I got sick this summer I never even saw my primary care physician, now I have an army of specialists controlling my life :pat: .

Dougster- this week you will be in the :starbucks: . Sunday - Monday and Thursday - Friday. I talked about it in "Introductions" earlier today. This year systems appear to run in pairs. This "pair" will be frozen.

I think I can hold down on the "Snow Dances" for a while

Frozen this time will be very cool! :thumb: And I don't mean sleet!!!:forgetit:

I am getting tired of all this potential "money from heaven" falling as unplowable rain. Some rain is fine to wash away the snowbanks and make more pushing room... but enough is enough! My basement is already plenty flooded!!!
