Very nice Mark!!!! Thank you very much!!!!

In the scheme of celestial behavior it's rather insignificant. But very cool to us mere mortals. :)

Messick's pulls through again!

Called Neil and said I'd like to order a backpack blower. He took my order efficiently over the phone.

22 hours later, the package is dropped off. :)

Thanks Neil!

He rocks. Messick's is a Class Act.

I now have a competitor in my neighborhood, Coleman's. They are trying to create a similar, dependable, online parts source. Their only limitation is going to be their brand variety.

I've ordered from both and have faith and respect for both.

Personally I think Messics is awsome and i wouldnt go anyplace else.Even being up here in Michigan I do a lot of ordering from them for my Kubota and David Brown Tractor.I havnt dealt with Coleman as to me they seem a bit pricey compaired to others.Messics is the way to go IMO...

Yes, Messicks is a fine dealership, especially when one needs to call a tech and talk about problems or get a parts guy on the phone and look at schematics to figure out what little seal or whatever to fit you particular very vague problem......GOOD STUFF.....

BUT.....when I need parts I always plug it into Amazon to see if the part is there and if it is......."Amazon PRIME" means free freight and it beats Messicks all over the place to not have to pay the extra add on price of the heavy duty cost of getting it here.......$12 freight to get a $4 part to me is kinda stupid...........God bless.....Dennis

I agree on the shipping. I learned the hard way selling a heavy part on'bay. I would have been better off throwing it in the trash can. .. The shipping to that zip code was 38.00 and the part was sold for 41.00 shipping included..Learned about how to do that properly now with the calculator feature..

My RTV is going to be mad at me.

Bought another car since driving the truck or van around our rural area/back roads isn't as friendly as driving a mid-sized sedan. We already have 3 sedans but wife takes one to work, daughter starts college next week so that one is no longer available to me and the 3rd one isn't running right.

So this new sedan is going to displace the RTV in the heated garage. The heated portions are individual bays so the car will fit nicely. The truck is in the other bay. The destination for the RTV is a bigger bay but has all the other equipment stuffed in there (ATV, ZTR...) and isn't heated.

It's going to a day or 2 since I have to take a bunch of "stuff" that isn't used much (e.g. table saw, welder, spare generators & log splitter...) that's sucking up floor space out of the equipment area to make space for the RTV. All that "stuff" will go to another building I have about a mile down the road.

Bad dad. lol
I had to do the same type of shuffling around when the z3 came to my stable. Being a convertible I would not leave it out, plus it's a classic. :hide: And I do not have the extra garage option. My pole barn is used to store my boat, tractor, ztr and ATV. and my truck sits outside....as does our newest vehicle that used to be in the garage, the 4Runner. it's like a jeep anyway. Hard top. it can take the heat. In the winter I maneuver things around since the z3 will not be driven so the 4 runner, z3 and RTV all fit in a double stall garage. now that's a trick. :D I just need one more double stall garage ...or maybe 3 stall that would sure be nice. LOL I can hear my wife now.

I have something like 3000-3500 sq/ft of garage/building space here at the house but it's never enough.
3 vehicles, all the 3-point implements and all the trailers still sit outside. :(

I say it's time to build another building! :)

Well, I pre ordered myself a little something. "Person of Interest" season 5 . That is my favorite show and I never get to watch it so ... now I can.. Yaaay !! :) :) etc...

That's profound Mark.

So Mark, if our universe is constantly expanding, does it have a start and end? And if it does, what stage would you say it's in, i.e. infancy, middle aged, etc.?

Uhh oh

I had just finished spraying my first round of round up on the fence line today and was headed home. Got the RTV in her favorite direction on these hot days and was thinking about lunch.. Well it happened... My wand fell out and then the tire musta got it. Kablum kablum :pat: I slow down just as the empty 25 g spray tank comes past me - up in the air and lands in the road right side up and then slides to a stop.. There's the wand and hose 10 ft back... I jump out grab the empty tank and wand and head home.....
I give it a look, and since I learned a long time ago that plastic fittings are good, it seems things are repairable. The hose fitting broke off up inside the pump but I got it out using a screwdriver at an angle and turning. The pump is pulled partly out of the drive in bolt screw downs but that is an easy fix. If the fittings had been brass or metal , it would have broken the housing. The pig tail plug in disconnected so all was ok there. It looks like I have been blessed again.
I am going to route the spray hose under the rear screen there at the rops corner so that it won't be hanging out of the bed any more- because this isn't the first time for the hose to get under the wheel but it is for the tank to fly out- am really grateful a car wasn't coming.
