POPO945....

I had a similar issue with the muffler on my Kubota F3060 also caused by metal fatigue from vibration and I welded it back...But my welding expertise leaves a lot to be desired..Nice welding job.

Yes, I had a crack and broken weld on my exhaust manifold/muffler. The pipe broke right where it attaches to the manifold. Welded it back together maybe 500 hours ago and its still there and going strong.
YOURS looks like you have done a first class job in remanufacturing the whole shebang.............God bless..........Dennis

Popo 1945 ,that is a great job you did there. Thank you for posting - such good pictures too.
I had a muffler replaced under warranty. Only thing I remember now is that the installation instructions said to torque the manifold when putting it back on. It is a lot of vibration- you are sure right and I have noticed that some of the heat shields are cracking from all that vibration as well. collie

Just ohhhhhhh so way cool.............All God's creatures got love for each other.......THANKS Jamie.......God bless.....Dennis

Yes, Mark.....good job I guess..........PLEASE so I can really brag on you, explain just what a central boiler 4030 outside wood boiler is.........Us guys in the southern part of the country perhaps have no idea just what a monumental task you have done or what it actually does.........water heater???..........heat the house????..........God bless.....Dennis

Sorry got busy as hell here. Here is 1 shot of the central boiler. It heats a 2400 sq foot house with no troubles. Pad mixed 14 bags of quickrete for the pad,Dug the trench by hand 4 feet deep and 50 foot long.added Pex pipe and electrical in the trench and back filled.Ill get better shots soon showing connections.

Wow......THAT's so cool and so much work. I understand about that trenching, pipeline, and wiring. We put in a second well for the barn last year. 200' of electrical from the main and then 1000' of pipeline to automatic waters................HARD WORK.....But yours is worth it BUD......Time to get some grass seed on that earth and you will never even see that mud anymore.
So, is that a pellet type of unit, you feed it wood, how often???????????

GOOOOOD work.....God bless......Dennis

Doubt it will ever see grass seed its lousy sand and seed wont root deep enough to stay green. It grows then as soon as the sun hits it it does out.Only way ill get grass there is by adding 3 to 4 inches of top soil.As for fuel i load it with 36 inch long wood.Anything under 10 inches in diameter i dont slpit.Over 10 inches ill split just to make it lighter.Right now im loading it every other day as it isnt that cold out. When temps fall it will get loaded about 1 time a day maybe 2 depending on temps. My friend had the identical one and in temps from 20 to 30 degrees he loads it once a day. In temps from 0 to -20 he loads it in the am and before bed.But he keeps his house 75 degrees.I only keep mine at a comfy 70 to 72 unless the wife does a drive by the thermostat and she will run it up to 80 on me.

Nice work Mark....50 ft X 4 ft trench by hand???? Hope you don't have a lot of rock in that soil....ouch!...My brother has a similar setup heating the old farm house...Darm thing burns just about anything he can fit into it....He claims he can get 14-16 hours in the dead of winter when its -30...
