I'm in! All I need to do is get back the barbie jeep and ATV I parted with years ago.
 
Did something I haven't done in a long time today, finished most of my chores before noon, hauled out the Polaris 550 and hit the trails. Got back about 5 hours later to a not so happy wife but I had a good time. So many new roads and bridges to places I didn't expect to get to, met some new friends and burned a full tank of fuel. Can't remember the last time I did that. I only went to look at some logging activity but got caught up in the first incredible day we've had in months. So many different environments from dry to wet, mud covered, snow and ice covered roads, creeks overflowing their banks. Forgot how good that really was, going to do that again real soon.
 
Baijiu, That sounds like real fun ! Drop the fast pace race and having a little "me" time. Take time to smell the roses. I did that a bit today but did some work I longed to do- like cleaning up and pressure washing the RTV.... so tired of cows...24/7.... come on Spring and grass. collie

It was good therapy Two Guns, now after seeing all those rivers and lakes opening up I have the fishing itch. Fishing season opens up just when the black flies arrive.
 
BLACK FLIES......Could be a bad year locally for the little %$&**#&. Skeeters you can at least hear them coming. The snow hasn't even started to melt here which could mean a long cool wet spring which the $%&*$#& black flies seem to like...In case it hasn't become obvious, I hate %^#*&% black flies.
 
I think the only living things that likes blackflies are swallows and bats. I have nest boxes on all larger trees near my house and barns for swallows. I plan on makinf some for the bats as well.

Hmmm, I wonder why. Maybe they would draw 10,000 people cheering about him no longer being around?

Amen to that.

They said they will not protest his funeral if there was one and that they are better then that.
 
Warmer weather is showing up down here in the south.
And like every year. When it starts getting warm. New things start
popping up. The newest bread of biting bugs in the swamps ......
Explain this one ......
Don't think there is enough " DEET " to repel this one !!!!
