Most of our snow is gone now but looks like we may get a bit more over the next couple of days, our temperature is supposed to get up to 5 degrees C today back below freezinf after teh weekend. I want to take the chains and plow off my tractor but I`m afraid to get caught unprepared if we get another storm. Our neighbor NB got around 2 feet of the white stuff yesterday

I'm afraid to show that one to my better half. She might think it's a suggestion. You are a fortunate man Kanook~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Post Script:
There is a BIG elevation difference between Louisiana & Missisissippi.
At the 1:00 minute mark, sitting at the red light. In the foreground
pass the light. Well, that is Louisiana on the other side of the bridge.
You can see so much difference. You can actually look down on Louisiana.

rtv exhaust problems

Hey Guys (that includes everyone), Haven't been here for awhile. Anyway, I have a 04 rtv 900 w/ less than 500 hrs. My machine has a LOT of vibration, which I assume is normal since everything is bolted solid. The only problem I have encountered due to vibration is the exhaust system.
The 1st problem I noticed was the exhaust pipe cracked at the flange where it bolts to the manifold & the front of the muffler cracked. Took it apart, welded it, put it back together.
About 200 hrs later (see photos) the same thing happened w/ the addition of the tailpipe falling off on the road.
Took everything apart - additional cracks in the front of the muffler - flange cracked & broken in a none welded area.
I had some 1/8" steel lying around - so I cut out some end caps. Welded the tailpipe back to the muffler core 7 welded the new end cap in place.
I installed the muffler/ exhaust pipe (after repairing the cracks in the front of the muffler - again), lined it up w/ the broken flange & tack weld it in place. Removed the system - finished welding the flange & installing the front muffler cap.
Reinstalled the finished system & added a 2nd bolt to stabilize the muffler.
Hoppefully, this will last longer!!
Has anyone had a similar issue?
