Thanks collie for the info. We have 38 first calve heifers this year our birth date stared on January 24 so far we have only had help one out. The heifers are all close in when they get springy we bring them to the barn so we can watch them and help if needed and give them extra feed after about 2 weeks they get turned out with cows to roam the ranch. Right now because of the drought we are feeding all the cows everyday. We have been feeding since we brought them home from there summer range there never has been any grass this year because of the drought we are lucky we grow all of our own hay.
 
I did great the first time got a 28 after that I sucked beginners luck. Darn this is kind of addicting. now I am getting better.

Old hat, I think you passed two guns test, you were willing to try and to report back. If you can shoot a 25-28 that target isn't going to be bothering you anymore.

When I was a bit younger I used to shoot competition at our gun club I mostly enjoyed the hand gun competitions and especially the revolver courses.
 
lol........Somethin wrong with my target....even when I get two in the middle and one of the ring I still get a 10. You fellas sure must be Roy Rogers look alikes or something. Gonna still with my 12 Ga. 00 for sure.............God bless......Dennis

Ahhhhhhhhhh figured out how to get the scores.........NOW.....27, 28, 29, 30, 30..............That guy sure does need to get a good stance and use both hands......sure does wander a lot........God bless........Dennis

Not a gun person, best I did in 4 tries was a 25. Will try again later.:wink:
 
Dennis has got us beat so far. He has got two 30's in a row.

I finely got a 30 , but no luck on two in a row, let alone 3, but I can shoot along with any one at 7 yards with a 1911. oldhat
 
I gave this another try tonight, just got several 28 followed by two 29 and finally two 30's. I found I have to find my sights fast and shoot quick.
 
Wife is hollering in the other room. I got this, I got that, I got, I got , I got,
I got, I got .....
on and on and on ....

Then she done it, " I GOT 30" .............
