The new style cartridges have sensors and other electronics in them.IMO they suck period!
There are times when technology really bites you in the ass.Give me the good old days back any time.

I try not to judge. But being able to see on a bike is a big plus, not to mention, safer too !!!
Mrs. Two Guns and I went to the Mexican restaurant, and on the way out, I walked by a Harley bike, that the bike was pretty clean.
But, you could not see NOTHING out of the glass. NOTHING. ZERO. How in the hell the owner even made it here.
As I walked by, She took a picture of it and didn't tell me she had it until we returned home. And yes,

That is my forty-five under my right hand. I would suggest all others start packing too !!! This country is going upside down ....

Mean little monster was not letting the mailman deliver to the mailbox down the road.
So had to catch and move release him down the further to another location.
This is not the first time he has chased the mailman.
What is the world coming to. Heard of dogs dis-liking the mailman, but now,Gators is running mail men....

So he got moved about four miles down the bayou !!!!

Gator was not really big enough to kill mailman. But he sure would bite off a toe or so. Bite off a foot or make one hurt himself !!!
Give him about six or so more years. Then he will make a good harvest gator yea !!!!
....... two guns

Oh for sure Two Guns. That is a small one but still, as you said, can nip.. haha ..that missing hand or foot would just mess up my rural mailman bad... He drives an old buick fast from the right hand side with the left hand on the wheel... never wobbles neither..

Carryin on a pretty much constant basis BECAUSE of what you have identified in this post and others. It's sad for folks that understand, of all the values that have been lost in this last generation. Yes, the leadership of the country and the government are just examples of how honor, integrity, trust, and truth have become just words instead of creed.........

Oh well...........we are on HERE, so SOME understand whether they live that way or not......WALK the WALK and all that rather than just the talk.......

Was taking my Princess Grand daughter to one of her summer camps the other morning..........Up on top of the hill there in the middle of the road was the nicest little rattler warmin itself on the pavement........The old man gets out, reaches to his side, holds the little .380 with both hands, and from perhaps 8' puts a hollow point through the neck just below the head. Third one in 2 years we have gotten rid of within 100 yards of that spot and if you remember, last summer one of the guard dogs got bit and we almost lost her. Since then they all have been vaccinated..........Anyway,......Princess was totally amazed and in awe of old Grandpa doing his thing........"Now, I know why you always have that thing. To get rid of the bad ones".......lol......if that is all the bad there is in this world to protect her from life will be so grand.

Glad you helped out the mailman BUD.......maybe next time you send it north in a package to some trailer trash to make a guard dog out of?????........God bless......Dennis

Like you. Wish that is all we had to worry about.
Carry at all times. Repeat, I CARRY AT ALL TIMES !!! The only time I don't have it with me is when I am flat on my back in bed, and there is a .45 there, right there beside my old wind-up Big Ben clock. That weapon stays there. In the shower, And there is one in close to the shower door in that room. Yes, it's a 1911 .45 also, and it's home is in that room also.
When I go outside. There are one of several I have on my side or in a shoulder holster. Yep, more .45's......
Even if I just go out to take out garbage, or check the rain guage, cut the grass, sit in the swing in the back, or just to walk around the yard. They are carried with me. To the store,
when I work, yes, and I have one in a shoulder hoster when I attend church.

It's not that I am paranoid. Have seen what can happen when you don't have some protection, and it's not good.

Did I mention Mrs. Two Guns, yep, she's carries a compact .45 !!!!!

Went to NY last weekend. Couldn't take my carry gun with me. :(

On the printer/cartridge issue, be advised that the new cartridges have mfg. date in their memory. New printers now look at that and if expired, won't use it. When you buy a new printer, make sure you can override its use of the expiration date.

45s are nice to keep around.Im kinda sorry I sold mine. But replaces it with a 40. almost identical hitting and stopping power but a lot cheaper to shoot.
s7_217451_999_01

.40 is about 21 a box store bought and about 7.50 to reload .45 around here 30 bucks a box and about 12.50 to reload.I guess it all depends where you live.Up here we still cant find .22 rounds in a store and when you do its like 8.50 a box of 50 which used to be 1.45 a box of 50.

Same thing here on the .22 shells. You have to get on the list and wait as they are gone as fast as local shops can get them. My Amish neighbor told me any time I see them buy them for him and his boys. They hate using high powers on groundhogs not to mention the noise scares the hell out of the horses.:whistling:

I haven't bought any ammo since the prices skyrocketed a few years back.

My son was getting into shooting a lot when this ammo crunch hit. Found the best solution for us was to get a couple good pellet guns. The new ones are really nice and have ballistics that are about 75% of a .22 but they're really cheap to shoot. Hardly make any noise either.

I ended up getting Gamo Whisper, Remington and a pair of Hammerli's.

Definatly I have 1 that shoots 1000 feet per second its a break barrel but all the .22s i have for the kids are collecting dust now which is a shame.

Hat

I stopped by the Kubota dealership in Belzoni on my way back from Ark. I like the nice folks there and try to buy supplies from 'em when it works out. Well, I go in and everyone says hi. This is the same place where a owner fellow there tried to but my '94 Toyota p'up a couple of years ago- shocked it only had 57,000 mile on it.
. I give this fellow I have never seen before my filter number and so he goes and gets it for me. I say how many hours were put on the 2 RTVs I had. Then I pay cash for the filter (right at $11 ) He goes to get the change in the back room and come back with it and a hat. for me. :) I didn't even get a hat when I bought the bota elsewhere. Well haha funny thing, I am going to remember that when the time rolls around for a new machine. :) collie -- funny how the little things count to me.
