Think we A'skert 'em off????

Poor choice of words (or "word") maybe... but my point is still valid! :) Anyone who thinks that the Junk is a "go along to get along" poster is going to eventually have their head delivered to them on a platter. :yum: It tends to make for much longer, more interesting and more controversial threads.

Dougster :starbucks:

Those threads you speak of could be shortened considerably by simply replying to me with these words.

"YES SIR, YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT SIR"

That'd spell the end of the controversy real quick-like.

Now Junk listen to ya. Ya know if you took yer own advice when it came to conversations with your doctor, think of all the headaches that would solve. :yum:

Oh Brother!!!

Sounds more likely to me that the MRI may have discovered your head up your :moon3: !!! :yum: :yum: :yum:

Speaking of which... how is your pal ole' Robert in NY doing these days??? I remember that he fell and hurt his back rather badly. :o

I sometimes miss the old guy!

Dougster :starbucks:

Last I saw of him he seemed to be doing all right...

The stuff about getting into it with Junk was actually kinda funny... I know we got into it about something over on the old site a year or so ago, but damned if I know what it was about though.. best I recall it was something not really worth arguing over, but we did anyway...:shitHitsFan:

Didn't have any particular old thread in mind... but was just thinking that Junk could sometimes benefit here from an "old school" partner of Robert In NY's stubborn tenaciousness. :D It would serve to level the playing field... the old schoolers with the far younger and more vibrant Mahindra crowd! :yum: :yum: :yum: :yankchain:

No way let's not go down that road!:pat:

You'd expect this sort of rowdy behavior from a bunch of YANKEE's, but please excuse us PROPER, well mannered SOUTHERNERS for participating in this sort of silliness. We NEVER behave like THIS at home:rolleyes: . YEAH RIGHT.....!!!!

Not to hijack the thread back to the original subject, but... Funny this statement was in there. I am Texas born and raised and southern to the bone, but when I had to have a kidney transplant 9 years ago, it came from a man in Ohio whose family donated his organs upon his death. It was a perfect match, and I have had no problems other than gaining lots of pounds from the meds I take. I have often (jokingly) told people that the only drawback to this transplant was that I had to start being nice to yankees, since they were awfully good to me, and I have yankee blood in me now. :yum:

By the way, I am truly grateful every day I live. There was a time when I thought I would not see my children grow up, and now I am watching grandchildren grow up, AND I get to drive the tractor. :smartass:

Hey Grandpa - Good story... and just so you don't worry, it is literally impossible to hijack a thread that has already covered more than 100 separate topics by now. :tiphat: This is destined to become one of those legendary "goes everywhere" threads that folks will look back on in future years, read as far as they can get, shake their heads... and ask: "Why?"!!! :D
