I can't use that method. My tractor seat is black vinyl. Really sticks to the butt and gets hot when the sun hits it. :)

Not so much of a problem with the 1942 JD, but up here it's darn cold and the steel seat makes a different type of problem. If I tanned like that today I'd experience the turtle effect that could take months to remedy.

It looks like the sun. What's "the term of the rat"?

CPS - Careful with those metal seats. Mine had holes in them. You don't want anything falling into the holes. It could really hurt when bounced or when you go to get out of the seat.

Still fighting the fluid buildup from laying in the hospital for 4 days last week. Pain is a non issue since they pumped enough IV Vancomycin in my veins and have me taking more antibiotics for the cellulitis that the ER doc diagnosed. Got my coumadin level corrected now that I am home and working on the fluid. How in the hell do you gain 7 lbs. in the hospital?? The food was mediocre at best and peeing in a jug while hooked to a hose was not what I am used to. When I would ask for more lasix they refused without a doctor's order. I have been doing my part on most of these meds for 5 years now and know more of what I need to do than most of them. Enjoying this great weather and working in shorter time frames, then laying down with the leg elevated. Bought out an old beekeepers equipment and hives. Took 2 big truckloads to haul it all home and wife is starting to clean and paint some of the hives now. Going to set out some bait hives today and tomorrow as this is the beginning of peak swarm season. Hope to at least recapture the one that took off on us last year.

Hey Muleman,
My friend. Everything is going to be fine. Just do the best you can
and leave the rest to God. He knows how you fell and what is going on !!!!

Must be why he let the grass between the house and barn grow like mad so early in the year. Trying to mow it and it is about a foot tall. Will try to get the rest this afternoon and get some more things planted in the garden. Used the RTV for a ride around the farm yesterday with the wife. Need to get the chainsaw out as a few trees block the one woods road. Winter winds brought quite a few down and need firewood anyway. Can only cut about 1 tank of fuel at a time anymore. She is going to paint hives while I mow later.

Figured out today that the RTV can hold about 7-8 bushels of those damn dandelion heads with a little grass thrown in. Having one heck of a year for yellow as the mustard is also making a comeback. Still don't have all the yard cut for the first time but what is left is 2 small areas. Finally got 2 days with no doctor appointments.....oh wait it was the weekend.:bonk:

Had a great day today. Rode the Goldwing bike up about 60 miles up toward the north. Found a spot, Mrs. Two Guns & myself eat good.
Came back and checked up on the place and took off again.....
Then done some riding over on the Mississippi side of the River and
just enjoying life. Got sunburned. Went down to " Under-the-Hill"
on the banks of the Mississippi River and watched the sun go down.
Even snapped a pic for you to see what we were a watching !!!!
Mississippi River is almost one mile wide where we were ......

God is Good !!!!
