Dammit, I just got around to reading this.
And I can't quit laughing.

Yes indeed Two Guns. I agree! That's what makes this a special forum- family like. We can all laugh and joke about things...Serious or not, and help our friends out by at least a good laugh or smile.
Pepr, I forgot a main part of the F45 thing.. She is a daughter from the Rita and Pierre bloodlines. I can't remember the # just now ...maybe 1322?
Super hot today.. Getting sorta dry... foxtail taking over the pastures... :( my new project for future weed control.. I will try wiping some using the RTV so it will look like I'm working instead of joy riding. :) bordercollie

Louisiana women.

Three friends married women from different parts of the country.

The first man married a woman from the North. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from the West. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done, and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from the Louisiana. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he pees.

Is that anybody here driving this babe around?

Wow Gary. What zone are you in? I'm in zone 8 and the cool spring really set my okra back and the figs are a month late on ripening . Now that the temperature has gotten up, I have okra out my ears. It's still not as hot as normal though. Maybe your watermelons will kick in at least they aren't cracking from the rain. good luck. bordercollie

I don't know what you mean by zone but I'm just east of Detroit. Cooler then normal summer with a lot of rain in June and July. Last year was my first year for a garden and I thought I was an expert with the bumper crop I had. This year has brought me back to reality. Next year I am going to hill everything just in case we have a lot of rain again.

Just got done canning 2 bushel of tomatoes. Long day since our normal routine is me + 2 kids but they're in school so I had to do it myself.

Pumpkins are the size of large beach balls now. Would like to make pies but will give to the kids for halloween.

The zones are just areas according to temperatures and frosts/freezes. :) There are good years and bad years . Maybe next year will be good for you though. .
Zoom, that is a lot of work putting up that many tomatoes, but will be some good eating. I have so much okra that folks are running and hiding when the see me coming. ;)
