Dougster :starbucks:

I'll tell ya what. Messin' with some of us old guys is sorta like when anyone would land a lucky punch on Muhammed Ali. You got lucky, but you're luck will run out when he throws it back.:fight: :boxing:

Blood sugar level @ 140 2 hours after dinner. :thumb:

Now that sounds like the FWJ we have all come to love. BS looks good. Keep that up and your wife will stop beating you on the head with the frying pan. :bangin:

Brandi: The students really respect my space :respect: . The students who have been enrolled awhile all know where I live. I might add the student body as a whole is really supportive of me and want me to come back ASAP. The new "enrollees" are a different story coming from various "boot/brat camps" from around the world :pat: . On occassion we get some runaways from that population. They are generally confused as to their location . Imagine their surprise during their "elopement attempt" when they run into me and my backup in the background (Samantha 90# Wonder) . I "get the "CALL" and/or a walkie talkie blurb whenever we have an "elopement". I was 3 for 3 recently in "bringing them back alive" before I got sick  .
Beautiful doggie Jay!!! Reminds me of an old GF's German Shepherd... a truly magnificent animal... far bigger (and way scarier) than my own German Shepherd from many years ago. :o

I certainly hope they figure out what triggers your problem so that you can someday return to work. I get the sense that you really do belong there... doing what you do for these kids.

Dougster :starbucks:

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jay :letitsnow:

PS: We are all in this strange trip  together

Jay, the snow dance sorta worked. the ground is getting white over here by Dougster.

You can stop the snow dance for Maine. Wife says that if she can find Jay she is going to strangle him.:yum: I think I got over a foot and a half at the house. Been snowing for three days now.

Jay,
Sanantha is gorgous. She reminds me of my white shepard, Rex. Rex's parents played tug of war with a 4x4!
hugs, Brandi

I am Samantha's "Daddy". She was a "rescue case". She is still in "rehab", but she is definitely coming around. German Shepards are an interesting breed. Jay

This was a very interesting system and the storm track did not really benefit the Ol' Dougster. Northern/Eastern NE benefitted from this system as did areas north and west of the St. Lawrence.

I see some "turdy" mixed stuff for the weekend and dropping temperatures for NE. Early next week is starting to get interesting with arctic air coming into the area.

Jay :letitsnow:

PS: civesnedfield- your wife is not the first SWMBO who want to excercise "extreme predjudice" upon me . I will :hide: for awhile :yum: .

You better hide.:hide2: She told me that she cleaned enough of the driveway to get her car out tomorrow, and the rest is mine. Yipeeeeeeeeee:letitsnow: :letitsnow: seat time tomorrow afternoon. Better look at that model again they are calling for more snow up my way Saturday night into Sunday.

Admit it now: Don't you wish you had a CAB tractor??? ;)

Nope. I like the wide open. Now if we were talking middle of the summer, hotter than I don't know what, baling hay, the answer is yes. But that's not a problem cause if it was then and I was doing that I would be in the JD 6230. Oh yea that has a cab, with heat, AC, and Tunes.

civesnedfield:

I just did a quick Dopplar "shot" of Fairfield area. It looks like you are still in snow flurry mode (We got 3" today.). I believe that you will get less than 1/2" tonight, 1"-2" on Friday, and a little more snow Friday evening. I think that you will get some "snow action' over the weekend, but the amount is currently uncertain. I also believe that NE will get a "coastal storm" early next week following the "arctic" front coming through later in the weekend. We'll see. Jay

Okay for you guys!!! :furious: As NTT's one and only official bone-fide OLD MEMBER, I would ask that the child members here show a little more dignity and respect for their slightly falling apart elders.

Just wait until you guys get old and find out the hard way what it's all about!!!

Dougster :starbucks:

Doug...I'm 2 years from drawing SS bennies...

Maybe it had something to do with all those miles of Government paid running when I was young...:D

To whom it may concern;

This talk of snow must stop NOW:forgetit: If I NEVER see another flake in my life, it'll be just fine with me. Now SILENCE on that subject. :topicclosed:

Now, anyone wanna sit in for me this morning? We have our monthly "progress meeting" to discuss on-going jobs, upcoming jobs, and finally, the financial status of the company. That last one is ALWAYS brutal. My boss is one of those guys who believes that if he planned on making $10 and he only made $9, he LOST $1. If we planned on $10 and we made $11, why didn't we get it right in the first place? Long story short, no pleasing this guy. I usually sit in the corner of the room, sipping on cup of hot (UNsweetened) tea, picking at a bran muffin, and trying my darndest to be invisable.

Good luck with being invisible, maybe the boss will be in a good mood today since it's Friday.

Well, be thankful you've got your good health! More than 30 years behind a desk and computer for 10 hours a day did not serve me well in that regard. Add to that a serious left arm handicap since birth and HBP and folks ask why the heck I'm out there digging up rocks and stumps and plowing snow. Maybe I am crazy... but I just want to be physically active for the rest of my workin' days. Those days of just moving my fingers around with a pencil and/or keyboard are hopefully gone forever.

Is it Friday already??? Dang!!! I'm still working on my Wednesday morning "to do" list!!! :(

Sorry Farmwithjunk, but I can not help myself this morning as to the weather geek stuff, fuu-fuu :starbucks: , as well as being overactivated  .

CivesNedField:

I am begining to think that more SWMBO's will have issues with me this weekend into early next week  . Very interesting weather systems and tracks going on with a lot of potential energy. Of course there is disagreement amongst the "models" and different services, but after reading all the discussions and looking at all my charts this is what I think will happen :lam: :

Today a cluster of lows will be moving off the coast bringing you some light snow, but there are a series of surface lows to follow from from Quebec, southern and central US. These will probably form a secondary low off the Gulf of ME Saturday into Sunday. Possibly resulting in a decent snow event for your area and northen NH and areas >500' especially going inland. It is possible that you could see 6" - 10" more inches in additon to what I "predicted" earlier:snow:. I still think that there will be a "coastal storm" early next week (maybe midweek ) . I am not too concerned about wet stuff in your area, along the coast there might be some mxing. This pattern will impact my area and 'Ol Dougster's a little differently. We'll see- Jay :letitsnow: :hide2:
