Re: Recommendations on accessories

Well,

I couldn't find it although I could swear that I posted pics in the past.

OK, here's the windshield. It's 3/16" lexan (w/mar-guard) cut in 2 pieces.

It's held to the ROPS using O-Clamps that are made for stage system lighting. Do a search on e-bay for "O-Clamp" to get a close-up picture. Not super pretty but it kind of looks tough/rough.

In the middle (bronze color... haven't painted it yet) is "H" channel to keep the pieces together. There's an aluminum U shaped channel on the very top and bottom for rigidity as well. There's rubber U shaped gasget material between the metal and lexan that can be purchased from a hardware store (it's made for making storm windows and stuff).

For the winter, I have a piece of rubber that goes across the bottom to keep the wind from coming between the hood and the windshield. I take it off in the summer as I get a nice breeze through there.

Re: Recommendations on accessories

Thanks.

I also used them to mount those rearward pointing box speakers. I would use them for a couple other things but unfortunately, not all the stock on the ROPS and front grill guard are in .5" increments. I was hoping to use these clamps to mount a variety of tools to the grill guard (tool rack, chainsaw bracket...)
