Again, Very NICE! Have you upgraded to 1" spindles or are you running the 3/4"? I ask as some have reported the upgrade makes the steering (and shear strength) much more manageable. Yours may be already 1" stock but I don't see any lug bolts on the front wheels.... Just wonderin'... Mark

Yeah...I believe you've got it :D The spring (23) pushes the carrier fork (22) forward engaging the nose gear (18) to the flywheel when 12V is applied. The assembly (21 + 18) retracts when the ignition key is released. Mark

Dave, You can do so much better with $5K and buying a well supported grey market tractor. And one with a warranty, parts support and assurances from a dealer that will be there for you when (IF) you need parts down the road. Mark

I agree!! The YM2000/YM240 is still (probably) the best, well supported model ever produced. What's most unique to this model vs. others, are the size of the bull gears (nearly double in size) as the tractor was built for, and saw double duty in the rice fields and the dairy farm industry. One...

Just a great all around tractor! All I can add is it's a quick and nimble machine and with simple maintenance will last you for decades. Mark
