    1710 mid mount mower

I would think the shaft stub would be visible below the transmission, under the tractor, or the mid PTO control lever would be within reach from the seat. Let us know what you find.

    Which tiller to consider?

I've got a 60" Sicma sold under the First Choice brand some years ago, it's been great. They make different levels of durability, depending on use & I'm not sure where mine falls but, it's been a good one. I've always heard good things about the KK tiller though & wouldn't be afraid to put...

Put gas stabil in my diesel-Help

If you mixed it per the label, a few ounces per 5gal, I'd fill the tank with diesel & run it. It is far too small a quantity to have any negative effect, IMHO.

    Trailer Load Capacity ?

I think a new 10K trailer is in your future. I'd think you'll want to haul it with some attachments more often than not. That would put you well over weight. Add a trailer tongue box to hold straps, chains and binders and more weight is piled on. I'd love to see some pictures of the Mahindra...

Nice tractor! Thanks for the pictures. If you can, I'd love to see pictures of the car in the garage. A little rep coming your way.

    I broke my Tractor L245dt

if parts are not readily available (I'd bet they are available), google search for tractor junkyards or used Kubota parts. I think it will go well if you have an experienced hand to help. I'd try it if it came to that and I am a bit of a hack. Goog luck and keep us posted on any progress. If you...

    I broke my Tractor L245dt

You'll have to split the tractor, a major job for some, not so for others. Your wrenching ability & determination will be key factors. Do you have anyone local with experience to assist?

    Mail Box Destruction

That's ok. I'm comfortable with it. We can agree to disagree.

    Mail Box Destruction

I assure you, I am not trying to make a point. I also ride, and mailboxes are not a concern of mine. There are so many dangers out on the road that choosing mailboxes as a focus is not a priority a have. Perhaps it is a difference in region, New England is very historic & there are features that...

    Diesel Fuel Additive

It can't hurt to add directly to your tank, as suggested, but cold temps that gel fuel are still a ways off.

    Mail Box Destruction

I agree completely, what a joke. To create laws that require rubber padded rooms along the roadside is moronic legislation. There is a laughable lack of personal responsibility these days. Utility poles are rarely set back to any real degree and the one near my mailbox is closer to the road than...

I'm not sure if the new models have the same type but, heres mine on my 2003 TYM/Mahindra:

TYM 353HST - mini review The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

On the right, there is a single parking brake pedal. I think it locks the right rear brake. The hydro tranny does a good job of holding the tractor without it but, I use the parking brake.

TYM 353HST - mini review The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I like the electric pto clutch. It allows the split brakes on the left where they are easy to use, even if I only use them <10 time/year. it's been reliable for me.

    itm tractors

from tractordata.com: "Industriya Masina I.Traktoru. IMT made a number of licenses Massey Ferguson designs in the Beograd, Serbia factory." I've seen them on e-bay before. I do believe they were legitimately licensed from Massey. Looks like they've been around since the 60's.

TYM 353HST - mini review The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I have an older version with over 1200hrs & love it! Nice review btw. I have only added 1 light and put the switch in the dash. I need to take a picture. I have already done as you have, lifted my post hole digger too high into the fuel tank. Lesson learned until I do it again!

    Quick Backhoe movement

What rpm are you operating at? I find the swing to be touchy on mine, some have a valve that adjusts swing speed. Unless something is truly wrong on yours, you'll get better with more use.

    Using ym240 stop valve

I believe that is the same as my Woods chipper. I'd also be interested to see pics. Do you have the discharge chute? I wish I did. Still, it is a nice upgrade from my old W.W. Grinder Super Apache.
