Put gas stabil in my diesel-Help

I bought stabil gas and diesel formulas and I accidently picked up the gas formula and put it in my kabota 3130. Do I need to drain my fuel tank or could I squeak by. Very frustrating but now I gotta deal with it.
Thanks,
CK

I don't think you'd have to drain it. Diesel's can burn gas better than gas engines can do diesel. How many gallons of diesel are in the tank and how big of a container did you put in? I'm guessing you'll be fine with a little extra smoke ...but I'm no pro. You might want to call a dealer and see what they say.
Good luck.

If you mixed it per the label, a few ounces per 5gal, I'd fill the tank with diesel & run it. It is far too small a quantity to have any negative effect, IMHO.

Thanks for your responses! The tank is full, my tractor has a tank of 10.6 gals. and yes I put the amount that the label suggested. If there is any other advice I'd appreciate it and I will double check with a dealer on Monday. You guys are making me feel better about it.
Thanks.

if you have a turbo on the engine.....and if you are pulling hard watch your piro and dont let the heat run to high.......other wise Im guessen you put about 4 oz. in and that is not going to hurt.....but check with your dealer before the days of powerservice and all used to use 3 oz of gas to each 5 gal of fuel to help with gelling and to make the old cummins and cat start much easer in the winter

I'm no expert on this kinda stuff but. . . im guessing that the gas stabalizer might be just a bit stronger than the diesel kind. If its only in the tractor tank, I would roll with it. I have used regular dry gas in the diesel tank when water is a problem, (like when the operator forgets to put the fuel cap back on in the rain or snow. I seem to do that a lot!)
If it would made you feel better, suck it out of the tank and cut it with more fuel. Whats the worst that can happen ? and remember "Its only money!" . . . John

For as little as you put in, I think that it'll be OK.

Don't feel bad about it. I seized up a leaf blower because I forgot to mix in the 2-stroke oil. My S-I-L has the record though. While talking on her cell phone, she put diesel into the radiator instead of the fuel tank on the ol' JD 820. See, your screw-up was really minor. :)
