1710 mid mount mower

i bought a 914 A 60" mid mount mower for my ford 1710 from a tractor shop that said it would work on my 1710 but then i read that the 1710 doesn't have a mid p t o does anyone know. :

I searched the 1710 parts at Messicks and could not find the traditional Mid PTO. They had a reference to a 540/750 PTO

I would think the shaft stub would be visible below the transmission, under the tractor, or the mid PTO control lever would be within reach from the seat. Let us know what you find.

You might have to hook up the belt from the back PTO like the International Cub Lo-Boys. I don't think the 1710 had a mid PTO.
