What your running into most likely is the push pull cable that attaches to the peddle on one end and the bellcrank at the other is just slightly out of wack. You always want the bellcrank to rest in the detent at the highest possible peddle. The way you adjust this is to loosen the clamp that...

What you are trying to do is a bad idea. Replace the whole rotary valve assembly. Get a new assembly or buy a complete used one on ebay?

If they think I'm going to give that much more just for a few features they are crazy. I love my x1100c and it has and still works hard every day. I can buy a roxor for the difference in trade price they want for me to trade into a new x1100c. And keep my old machine

If your having trouble shifting all you need to do is adjust the linkage. Your hst speed control lever is resting to far toward swash engagement at neutral peddle.

It should fit right in.

Sorry i don't have a k connect but i do have a solution for taking the skid plates off for service. Just get an oil evacuator and suck out the oil from the dipstick tube on the engine. The transmission drains aren't covered by plates

Congratulations. The whole performance spectrum is programmed into that belcrank. With everything in spec as the peddle begins to move the rpm rise and the swash begins to tilt. The power curve of the engine matches the hst perfectly. Changing relief pressure as long as they are in spec has...

That's a problem. You need full range of motion at the peddle and on the bellcrank. Try disconnecting everything again and adjust the push pull cable so that there isn't any wasted travel.

On the old rtv900 transmission there's a hose that serves the suction supply for the charge pump that was known to collapse internally and cause your issue. With the age of your machine i would replace the hoses first. And might be an idea to also replace the suction filter.

If the charge pressure is low nothing will work right.
