what pressure do you run in your loaded tires?

Does this give us an indication that you are not organized? :poke::D I have R4s. Tire sizes are: fronts: 27x8.5-15 - 4 ply rated max load of 1570lbs at 40psi rears: 15x19.5 - 6 ply rated max load of 4170lbs at 30psi Maximum combined tractor weight with any and all implements not to...

what pressure do you run in your loaded tires?

I usually run max air in the tires and all of my tires are filled. My Mahindra owners manual says to run 2psi higher when tires are filled than you would normally with air only. I would think that your owners manual would have all of the inflation specs for the R1 & R4 tires for your tractor...

    Kioti vs Mahindra

Bordercollie, this is GREAT news, but I forgot to tell you about one requirement and I hope that this does not upset you. When you get it home, YOU MUST TAKE PICTURES AND POST THEM HERE. We all love to see peoples new machines. We are all very happy for you, this will be one of the...

    Kioti vs Mahindra

I guess that you are looking at the 3pt lift of 2381 vs 2493? But look at the loader difference, it's HUGE! The loader is absolutely the selling point between the DK35 & the DK40. Bordercollie, if there is any way at all, you have just got to get the DK40SE. Once you get it, you will not...

    Kioti vs Mahindra

Bordercollie, $3500 off on DKs later this month, maybe this could get you into a DK40SE. Way more tractor than the DK35. Sounds like you can get a DK40SE for under 20K.

    A new mahindra for me????

The Indian built machines from Mahindra are very good machines, especially the newer models. I consider these machines to be of better quality than the Mitsubishi built Mahindras, and they are quite good. The Koreans don't have much if anything over the Indian built machines in my opinion.

    Kioti vs Mahindra

For just a little bit more $$$$, you can step up to a DK40 and the loader that goes with the 40 is quite a bit stronger than either 35. I would check out the DK40 before getting the DK35. Keep in mind that the CK35 is a smaller tractor than the DKs, just in case size is a factor for you, if not...

    Kioti vs Mahindra

I was very very close to getting a CK35 myself, they are very nice machines. Closer to compare the Mahindra 3316 though than the 3535. A few reasons that I went Mahindra. I decided to go HST and I did not care for the HST rocker on the CK35. The 3215 loader was just a bit higher lift capacity...

    A new mahindra for me????

Bordercollie, here are some things to consider. 2wd sucks at loader work, the rear end is light, even with an implement on the 3pt. 2wd stops with 2 wheels while 4wd stops with 4 wheels as long as you are in 4x4 mode. My guess would be that you would have better stopping potential with the...

My dealer is 650 miles away, no problems that we couldn't handle so far.

    A new mahindra for me????

Bordercollie, the seat was $400+ and the dealer got to keep the original seat. The canopy was about $400 also, but I might be off a little on the prices, give or take a little. I think that the hydro is around $1000-$1500 more than the gear. I was leery about getting the HST, but for the type of...

    Hydraulic Disconnects.

No problem, I would guess that the QDs are 3/8". They have covers and plugs for the QDs, but they are to much $$ for what you get in my opinion.

    A new mahindra for me????

Bordercollie, I purchased a 3215HST (same as 3316 except decals) 14 months ago. Like you , I was looking for a smaller tractor to supplement our larger machines. It has been a very pleasant surprise as far as how much this little tractor can do, it has been a good little work horse. Your pricing...

    My BLUE TYM

I was once told that TYM would paint any of their tractors at their factory any color that you wanted at little or no extra cost. You just had to be willing to wait for it. They use to advertise with black tractors.

How many hours do you average?

My experience has been that if I hire it done, it usually costs me twice as much. And the reason for that is because I won't like something about what was done, and I end up re-doing it any way.

    Tractor Detailing

Yes I wash mine at least every 3-4 times that it is used, so I would guess about once a month. Even wax it every once in a while. I have been known to wash it just before I go and use it. I prefer to look out over a clean machine and vehicle for that matter, I just don't like dirty stuff. I wash...
