engine temp on your RTV9?

Nope, engine runs great... I pressure washed the tranaxle & chassis this morning getting ready to install my new coast valve... I hit the radiator too in an effort to clean any debris from the fins. I'll report on the results asap.

mardyn

    engine temp on your RTV9?

Well, I've blown it out with compressed air a few times, but I think I'll use the pressure washer to clean the radiator fins next time to see if that helps.
Never has got even near the red, so I'm not too concerned... just a little irritated at this point.
Temp seems consistent...

    engine temp on your RTV9?

How hot or cool does your RTV9 run? Mine seems to be running a bit hotter each time I use it for extended periods. When new, It only got up to about 1/4 of the temp gauge, then it seemed to ease on up to about 1/3, and now I'm nearly to the half way mark.
Rad screens are clean, cooling...

    RTV9 ride too rough?

Currently running about 12 psi tire pressure, most use is out in my pasture which is a bit rough. Our RTVs are an absolute work horse, no doubt about it... but it just doesn't need to be so stiff for my application.
Taller tires at lower pressure would improve the spring rate some, but...

    RTV9 ride too rough?

Is there any way to soften up the suspension a bit on the RTV9? Mine rides like a damn log wagon and after 250 hours, I'm tired of it.
I've thought about removing one of the spring leaves on each side, but I'm looking for other ideas as well.
Anybody have any suggestions?
btw...

    Just wanted to say Thanks...

Yea, my tire pressure is already down to 10 psi, that's why I figured removing a leaf might be the next step... I see what you mean about the bump stops, they're pretty close already, maybe if I removed the upper donut.... Hmmm, just not sure. But I am sure that I like the lower idle speed...

    Glass Windshield

I've got the Kubota glass windshield on my RTV9.... it is an excellent choice and works great. Had the dealer install it when it was in for service. Seems like it costs about 700.00 or so. All the other aftermarket windshields I looked at weere just too cheesey looking for my tastes. Go for...

    Just wanted to say Thanks...

I'm new over here, just found the site last week. Anyway, my RTV9 has about 229 hours on it now, and I've been trying to get some help on reducing the idle speed... well low and behold, a quick search turned up a thread, with instructions and pictures... how cool is that? After having the...
