thanks for the info. gonna study the mechanisms involved when the cd gets here and see what you are talking about but probably go through the entire adj from the pedal on. My rtv x1140 will not keep up with my 326r mower but really my racing is on asphalt if at all anymore. The fact that the pedal never feels like it has reached a solid stop worries me some that somewhere someone did some adjusting not fully aware of what they didn't know or a leadfoot bent a cable mounting bracket somewhere in the mechanism. I'm old, I learned a long time ago that there are all different levels of mechanics, they all make a living. The really good ones usually go in business for themselves to get paid what they are worth. Mfg's techs are usually not the best, thats why different brands of equipment are popular in different areas. it's not the equipment it is the service. My 58 mf65 had the hyd pump come apart. I fixed it and told the friend that sold it to me. He said the dealer charged him 600.00 to fix the same thing. This hst, vht diesel stuff is a little new to me. I really only got diesel because the gas is so crappy and I about wore the screws out on all the carbs on the place.
