I use my RTV much in the dark. I hardly EVER use the remote above me in the cab. I LOVE the little handy remote I keep in my pocket.

If you want, throw some Velcro on it and dash mount .....

Now, with this being said. Unless you are wanting to spend a extra 120-150 bucks. There is NO need for you to get two remotes. I'm sorry >>>

I believe it only comes with one.

That 3051 model chunks out some light.

that is the opposite of what I thought would happen. I figured the fixed mount remote would get used. I think a fixed mount would be better for me. I loose stuff constantly. Keys, remotes,tools,phones,,,,hope dementia isn't on the way!

I like the little remote for really rides in the cup holder. When needed, just reach and use. Driving around fields at night looking for wild hogs,
drive with one hand, remote the other hand, the remote relaxed in hand doing the light sweeping thing. Also, if your out and about, away from the RTV,
and need a light over where your at, " SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCH "
you have light exactly where you want it, without having to walk all the way back to the RTV and TRY to adjust where I need light. With the little
remote, I just beam the light where needed.
Everyone is happy !!!!

Razerface, being you loose much, you just might go ahead and get the dash remote style. Or just DUCT-TAPE the remote to the dash ....
