Transmission oil leak

Out this morning and oil all over under the x1100c. Took out the seat and mooved the fuse box to find the dome shaped plug on the unused port on the tank was rotted and cracked. Made a new one out of a hose a bolt and two clamps. Back to work

Had the same thing on the X900 I had and did the same thing, LOL.

It's on the hydraulic tank under the passenger's seat. See #120 in attached photo.

Thanks this is very helpful. I have kept up on my maintenance but never has the need to inspect the tank. Where is the offending port authur refers to?

It's in the diagram I previously attached. Look for item #120 and you'll see the extra port on the tank.

I had the same repair on my 2014 X900.

Thanks everyone. This will save me a lot of time and aggravation if it ever happens to our 1120. The diagram was very helpful. I usually need a crayon and sheet of construction paper to explain things to me.
