Synthetic Oil in RTV

<P mce_keep="true"> How often do you change your oil with synthetic... By the operator's manual ( page 39-40 ), regular service to the engine states the first service at 50 hrs, next at 100 hrs., and then every 100 hrs. then after. And the Transmission Fluid at every 200 hrs.</P>
<P mce_keep="true"> Just wondering how ofter does one need to change with the synthetic motor oils in the Kubota RTV's ......</P>
<P mce_keep="true"> For many companies states that one don't have to change oil as often with the synthetic......</P>

<P mce_keep="true">Hi Two Guns, I change the motor oil/ filter every 100 hrs. I use JD15w40. We use this in all of our tractors.This has worked for me and at 2032 hrs have had no engine problems. as of yet.Everyone's climate is different I know.. but this suits me. I have thought about using Shell Rotella but haven't..On the transmission, I go farther than 200 hrs unless I am doing a lot of pulling...more like 300 under basicwork load. The used trans oil appears a medium dark amber as it drains but is a little darker in the drain pan. I went 400 hrs once but not again and use I always useUDT. Bordercollie</P>

<P mce_keep="true">I have for the last5 years used Mobil Delvac 1300 15-40 in all my diesels. I change oil/filter in the RTV and tractor every 50 hours. My F-250 diesel is every 5K miles.</P>

<P mce_keep="true">I use Royal Purple LongRider 15w-40 in my Ford F250 diesel and also my RTV 900 andKubota GR 2100 lawn tractor. I have been very pleased withtheir line of oils. Bruce J.</P>
