That front hitch option could be handy but would have to be put on and taken off for each use. RTV would not fit in it's tight spot in the garage with that baby on it.

Good thought but in my case it would not help. Yeah, it's a tight fit in my garage. I have it behind the goldwing trike. It fits but just barely.

I have a mount point. If i use the bolts that hold the hood on. By any chance is that where yours mounted Len?

Yes ....those are the bolts where the cross bar mounts. The base of my windshield is straight . Yours is curved as your dealer said. Maybe you could use longer bolts with spacers to clear the curvature?

Looks to me like there is room even with the curve on mine.

Once you get above the curvature it looks like you have more room than my windshield and your wiper is not in the way.
