It was a good day for sawmilling it's better by far to saw up logs into lumber then to build with lumber. So to get started we need to get some logs on the deck so I can repair my deck.

Do you treat the lumber you plan to use outside?

I'll just put some HD stain on after the deck planks are down. I wanted to try Cabot stain from Lowes but there must a conspiracy between Lowes and HD, HD will ship paint to home but Lowes wont, Lowes will ship wood glue to home but HD wont, I notice this same scenario on other items to, can be aggravating to get stuff.
