RTV900 slow going up hill

Engine maintains RPM's but it slows down. 3500 hours on this 2007 with rebuilt engine. Will do 25 MPH on the flat. Will not spin tires even in the snow

Common issue. With that many hours and no service history the best is start with the simple things first and work your way through it. First thing is check the full throttle rpm with a tach do that and report your finding

That is what hydrostatics do.
Agreed. When climbing steeper hills, the engine bogs down. Let off the go pedal to about 1/2 way and an aux pump kicks in. You'll get your RPM's and power back but at a reduced speed.

Are you using OEM filters and SUDT hyd fluid? RTV's don't like the aftermarket stuff.

I see you're in Montana. What's your elevation? I don't recall the details but they just don't have the same oomph as if they were closer to sea level.
