RTV X1100C cabin air filter

has anyone found a reasonably priced alternative to the cabin air filter on the X1100C ??

How much is the stock filter? And perhaps it could be cross referenced with a walmart filter. I use 'em in my car and truck without issue.

I assume you know it is cleanable? I clean mine by blowing it out with compressed air.

I just pulled mine out. It's a paper filter. Yeah you could probably get away with blowing it out a couple of times. I try not to do that with air filters cuz I heard it pushes the dirt in also.But my wife has high allergies, one of the reasons we went with the 1100, so for us it's better to just install a freshie. If I think of it maybe I'll bring it to an auto parts store and see if they can match it up.

i am thinking of using the old filter frame and make a foam to fit over it.

Aftermarket cabin filter I found on Amazon. Better than full price, but still not cheap. I'll keep looking.

K&N website found filter for Suzuki RF600r is very close in size bought one off ebay for $16.95 fits pretty well just necessary to trim the tapered sides. fits well after trimming.

No the cheap one I bought off ebay is a paper filter as I wasn't sure how it would fit.
