RTV 500 front wheel drive engaged.....

I have 58 hours on my 500. I notice a slight grinding or rubbing noise when 4x4 is engaged. Something in the axle just doesn't seem right, or is it normal. The noise is heard when in motion, not simply engaging the lever. It doesn't sound like gears clacking, more like something is just wound up tight. Hard to explain, but any 500 owners understand what I'm saying? experiencing the same maybe?

I tried another unit at the dealer and it had similar sounds.
 
Yes there is a definite wine to it when it is in 4 wheel drive. That is how I can tell if it is still in four wheel drive after you put it back into two wheel drive. Sometimes you have to stop or back up to get it to release. Pretty soon your steering wheel will squeak when you turn it. Never been on a 500 that didn't.
