O onmyhnr New member Aug 18, 2024 #1 I broke the bolt with the ball joint on my drivers side door damper. I can find a replacement online, but I have no idea how to get the ball on the bolt out of the socket on the damper piston. Has anyone worked this these? Thanks!

BiffNH Well-known member NTT Patron Aug 19, 2024 #3 Try heating the socket portion to get it to expand. A MAPP torch should work.
