PTO engagement

I have a 2008 Kubota BX 24, an the pto lever will not move when i try to engage . It is almost like it is hung between gears. I called my dealer and, you guessed it. bring it in.
It was working fine last week when using my rear tiller.
Any one had a problem like this?

You might let out on the clutch lightly while trying to engage the PTO. I have to do that sometimes to engage the mower on my NH.

If it worked just a week before then you know it's not frozen/rusted. I've never seen this issue on my 02 kubota Grand L. I figure I'd take it to the dealer and keep my fingers crossed that's it's nothing to expensive.

I would look to make sure nothing is stuck in the levers. I've had sticks jump up there and wedge between the levers and lock them in place. If I'm just puttering around the yard I won't necessarily wear the seat belt, I've also had it drop down there and catch on the levers.
