as you get further advanced into this project........ if the machine has a sudden stop with the release of the go peddle there is a coast valve or adjust the oem valve so the stops will be softer. this will add years to your rear ujoints. from the factory these were adjusted all over the place from soft to severe so it is on a one on one basis, also the factory new rtv had a gas shock device on the linkeage that was supposed to retard the sudden movement of the linkeage to help soften things up. these struts didn't last very long
I'm watching your videos on you tube and really enjoying watching you progress. Also was glad to hear that you will be putting the good plating in the floor and checking the u joints/driveshaft there as well. The rear ujoints - were replaced several times when I owned my RTV s in the 12 years and 8500 + hours I had them consecutively - a good time to check them being easy to get to now. If you have to do those be sure to phase them where they slide together...(early models) haha but that's a different post also covered here on the forum
.
Thank you for your support very much,an I will have more videos soon,I apoligize on the bad camera work.im just doing the best I can mayb to help others.
