Parts Pricing

Is there anywhere that you can find parts and their prices for Kubota on the internet?

Messed up the driver side door today on that less than one week old x1100C and I want to price a new door vs trying to make this one work again.

Yep, I am sick. Don't ask, that fence post has always been there. I am just not use to having doors on these darn things!

I know you can look up the parts diagrams at kubota.com then when you get the part number you can price it at Messicks website.
Looks like a driver door is about $1300.

Thanks Ohio! Duh! Messicks is one of my local dealers and I've never even tried their website! Always just called and ordered a part and had it shipped.

I will be taking that door apart tomorrow and have my local body shop guy look at it before I take a hammer to it.

There is not 1300 dollars worth of stuff there!

What I priced out was the full door kit. Hinges labels, nuts, bolts, handles, seals.....etc you probably don't need.

I buy from Messick's, they have treated me very fairly. Call Ed Hughes in parts, EXT 126 (717-361-4817), great guy to deal with.

Cows will do that to left open doors too...even to trucks..
I learned that many years ago so don't feel too bad Cornerstone.... I don't need anything with doors but a house... :yum: collie

They are much harder to see out of than the ones without doors. I have to be thinking about it when in the woods with mine. Wouldn't be hard to mess a door up. Know that I know how much they cost  I will be much more conscious of what is beside me

FYI

Although the parts diagram does not list the door sheet metal as separate, only as a kit, it is available separate and it's a little over $400 bucks. Just transfer all the knobs and bolts and glass and hinges to the new door. Dealer doesn't think it will be more then 700 bucks tops and that sure beats the $1300. I could actually do it myself but I've got 150 lambs due right now so I am going to pay him to do the job. I can run the machine for a week with no door.

Radiator hose tightened and pressure test done. They are going to go back and check some others that they've sold.

When I replace my driver side door for a sliding window one it was about 600 or 700 for the complete door. Just had to pull pins and replace.
Still have the original door in camo.

Still waiting on the door parts. What's with Kubota?

The coolant is still leaking but I've been holding off on getting that fixed trying to combine it with the door fix.

Over 200 miles on it now, lot of mud and I find it more and more difficult to
shift from forward to reverse and back.

I also had a bit of a wait for parts, not surprising with a new model. Shifting became an issue for me as well, but my dealer came out and made an adjustment and now all is good.

I know that a new machine should not leak from dealer. BUT, I just could not stand around and let one leak like that. Check your clamps. Just might be a clamp needing a little turn or so. As far as the shifting. Let them send a mechanic out there. And while he is there, make him check ALL connections. The dealer is getting paid by Kubota for the warranty thing. And the mechanic is getting paid for the time. NObody is going to loose. But keep a close eye on the fluid ....

I agree with Two Guns. I would try to find that leak. All the hoses/clamps and the belt even should be checked during break in. If it gets hot and does damage, they might hang you with it . Also if you have animals around... they like to lick up the antifreeze and it can do them in. These are just my thoughts.

Ohhh don't worry I am watching. I keep adding water.

The dealer already had it in and tightened the clamps. As posted previously it's probably a clamp in the wrong place. They know I have a problem.

And the 12 volt accessory is dead too! So much for my cell phone and wifi.

Good deal Cornerstone. Maybe your power point problem is just a fuse or else maybe a wire came loose on the back of it. :tiphat: collie

The doors are crap! Second door lasted 3 days before a couple of sheep bent the heck out of it. They were making a dash to the feed troughs and I don't know how many tried to duck under the door. I wasn't looking.

Of course I left the door open. This time I had a friend who is a retired body shop guy work on it and he was able to unbend it enough to make it work again. It isn't pretty but it works! I am leaving the door off until winter.

The two panels are welded together so it's not easy to pry the bends out of it, but with clamps and the power puller he pulled it back into shape. The pop out panel to access the window is put on with those little push pins so after a while those will be brittle and break so make sure you have extras on hand if you have to remove the bottom access panel.

361 miles on it and I occasionally get that thumping sound. On the next service I will have them look at where the looseness might be. They did finally resolve the coolant leak.
