double make sure that the radius is the same on all four tires or you will mess up the 4wd. i noticed when i was shopping for my tires even though they were the same numerical size that the actual was all over the place.
If you keep it out of 4WD and don't engage the diff lock, you'll be OK.So if I go with the 26" hi tires, And save or carry one of the old 25" for a spare,.. Would hurt to drive short distance with diff size tire for spare ? I would hate to be stranded ... Do you guys carry a jack and spare ?

I don't carry a jack and spare. My property only goes back 1/4 mile so that's the farthest I'd have to walk back. I'd then grab a tractor or ATV to get the spare and jack back. (If I use the tractor, I'd just lift the end of the RTV with the loader instead of jacking).
If diff lock is off, aren't you in 1-wheel drive? If so, isn't the other tire just hanging out doing nothing but rolling? If there's stress from one side turning at a different speed than the other, wouldn't that stress occur every time you make a turn since the inside tire isn't spinning at the same rate as the outside tire?running a different radius tire on one side of a differential can build a stress and break a spider. especially from a 25 to a 26. if you are concerned with being stranded just carry a plug kit and a small air pump.
