Need more ground clearance

I have a Kubota RTV 1100, completely stock. Bought brand new 2 years ago. We use it on the farm...hauling supplies, leading cows, hauling grain, etc. I have no complaints other tham little ground clearance . We drive through ruts and a rocky stream and have bottomed out more times than I would like. would like to get bigger rims and bigger tires but not sure what's the biggest I can go without having rubbing or issues in the wheel wells. Also would prefer not to lose a lot of power...we have a couple steep hills we have to climb. Please help!

what works for me

You can put a 2 inch lift kit on your rtv for about $140 bucks. I put 28x10x12 on the front and 28x12x12 on the rear. These will mount on stock rims. you will have room for 29s . hope this helps

Welcome to the forum guys!

My replacement tires were a tad over 26" and under extreme conditions, I would get a little rubbing in the front so I too added a lift kit ('04 900). That fixed the rubbing with room to spare.

Although it gave me more clearance, it did raise the center-of-gravity somewhat noticeably. I didn't like this on steep hills when carrying a full load of firewood as it generated a bit more of a pucker factor when on you're crossing a side hill.
