Can someone give me a model #for this tractor, I purchased this and I know it's has been painted, but I can't find the serial number,and need a steering gear box

The vin plate is normally on the frame behind the seat. If you can't find the sn there or otherwise on the frame, check for a plate on the engine. With engine information, you may be able to get the tractor model.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that it isn't a John Deere. It might be a Kubota. It looks a bit Frankensteined.......

Can you provide pics of the front/grill, full side view and rear, behind the seat? Any engine stamps may help as well.

I am going to call it. It is a old gray market Kubota, that has been painted in John Deere Colors. Chances are, it will be extremely difficult to almost impossible to get any parts for it, if you are in the states. Those parts sources dried up many years ago. Hopefully, someone gave it to you for free.
