Might and might not rubb on hilly or rough terrain, they shouldn't rubb on flat ground. Which, that's 99% of the ground I run on( flat ground ), but if I ever go into a rough place, I don't really want to take the chance of the tires a rubbing at all. Plus, I believe that the 27" will probobly let me go just about three feet further. So, I can deal with that . But, I haven't crossed that bridge yet. I will just have to play it by ear when the time comes to make that "aggressive tire" purchase. For now,</DIV>
