I’ve got a customer with an RTV x1140 that the transmission is engaging very when you hit the accelerator and when you let off the accelerator it will almost throw you through the windshield. I know it’s just under 200 hours, just done a service on the motor. I’m needing advice on this issue since it’s used by his wife for gardening and she is elderly and in bad health

Feather the accelerator pedal, especially when letting off of it. The hydrostat will throw you thru the windshield if you let off of it quickly. It is that way by design.
It was working like this until the last couple weeks, now your having to press the accelerator past half throttle before the transmission engages. I’m going to do a fluid filter change first and drain the filter through a coffee filter to see if I’m getting any solids. I’m just wondering if there are other issues I should look at also
Maybe check the cable going from pedal to transmission.
