Kubota RTV 1100 won't re-start after shut down

Herman

A 6x12 is about the "right size" for the RTV. Be advised that most are rated at 3000# gross so you'll be right around that mark with the RTV on it.

Don't worry about the RTV. Mine is now 11 years old. It's never been in the shop but it doesn't have bordercollie hours or a snowplow attached.

Haha Zoom, Only my 05 went in the shop for warranty work way back in '05. Most work you can do Herman ... if I can do it you can do it ;) . collie

I thank you for your faith in my skills--but it ain't so. Last fall I realized that the starter cables in my Argo were loose and that there were sparks when I tried to start it, so I decided to tighten them. Anyone else would have disconnected the battery cables. I didn't. And while I was tightening one of the two nuts, the wrench slipped and made contact with the other nut... Big spark and miniature thunderclap, and the starter would not work anymore. Fortunately I do have a trailer for the Argo, and I had to take it to an ATV mechanic not too far from where I live. Imagine if I am going to do any maintenance work on the Kubota...
As to buying a trailer for the Kubota, I don't think management would approve... We just ordered a brand-new travel trailer. It's only a 21-footer and according to the specs it sleeps 5 (provided one is a midget and two are used to Guantanamo-type accommodations). But it has lots of nice things: fridge, two-burner stove, air conditioner, a toilet with shower, a dining table, an awning. Naturally I'll also have to buy a 4,000 W generator to power the a/c unit if we don't park in an RV park. It'll be fun when our daughter, her husband and our little granddaughter come down from Alaska to visit us. We don't live too far from Panama City Beach or Gulf Shores (less than a two- hour drive away), and we can all go together and test family ties by being all cramped in a tiny wheeled hut with a baby that will probably wake us up repeatedly in the middle of the night. Plus, my wife and I are in our sixties, and considering the age-caused deterioration of our plumbing and waste-disposal systems it will be nice to tow behind the truck a toilet with sleeping facilities...
Anyhow, the purchase of a trailer for the Kubota will have to wait...
