You need a toothbar on the front of that bucket, you'll dig much easier.
Usually your dealer can get you one, if he doesn't have them in stock. They are also available from online sources, such as Everything Attachements or Iowa Farm Equipment. They attach by two bolts, one on each side. Mount it to your bucket, then mark the holes at the front of the slot to permit simply pulling forward and flipping it up later to regain use of the smooth edge of the bucket.
