JD 5203 Engine Problem

My course of action is going to be to change all my seals. Will post back here if this fixes the problem after I change them out.
 
Before I changed all the seals I called a friend of mine who had worked for years as a mechanic for John Deere. He said he had never seen the problem that I had before, but he suggested that I just change the hydraulic seal.

This I did, and it appears that changing that one seal fixed the problem. We shall see and if anything changes for the worse I will post back again.
