Hydraulic dump bed options

Does anyone make an aftermarket hydraulic dump bed kit for an RTV900? Or am I at the mercy of the dealership to the tune of $1400?

I'm unaware of a 3rd party dump kit...other members may...You could always build one yourself using a 12v electric/hydraulic unit, cylinder, hoses etc. Otherwise the costly dealer route seems likely.

BTW...the Kubota kit although costly, is very robust.

Buy parts from the surplus store and assemble them. You may get by for less than three hundred depending on what they have available. Fourteen hundred should buy a used county truck with body and hoist. Kubota prices seem sky high to me.

It's to the point it would be cheaper to hire a weight lifter to ride with me and dump the bed than buy the OEM dump kit.

electric trailer jack

I made a pickup truck dump bed with electric coach leveler (posted at this site). It works great and I recommend making your dump bed from a trailer tongue electric jack. Northern Tools has one on sale now for $149 that should do the job. It's hard to beat the simplicity of a kit...but is it worth the cost?
