I would contact my dealer now.....
No leaks here although I did have the new engine smell for a while. I will double check mine tomorrow. . Regardless though, Two Guns is right . Let us know. bordercollie
Two Guns,I made the usual flying trip- A little painting, caulking and mowing. And most important-seeing my Mama- drinking her dark roast coonie coffee.
.Just curious Peper, your lift lever isn't stuck in the down position is it? Never mind, I just read that the machine won't start unless -the lever is in the off position. Do you have the 3rd cooler on the rear of your unit? Thanks, bordercollie
I was able to remove the folded gasket. The gasket had broken. I glued the gasket as a temporary fix and reinstalled the gasket and also cleaned up the reservoirs external surfaces. I will call/email the dealer on Monday to get a replacement gasket. Thanks to all that replied with recommendations.

I thought I was the only one to have problems that nobody heard of before and nobody knows how to fix. I have one of those problems that has been going on for ten years.

Request that the dealer send you the whole assembly, Cap & Gasket ....
If he don't have one in stock, make him take one off one of his new units
in stock.
Let him wait for the new one to come in. You should not. Yours has been paid for !!!!

By the way, just drove the Bota all over the farm lloking for army works. Great ride, no worms and no more leaks from the reservoir cap!!

Happy that you fixed it, but I would still get a new cap in anyway.

I'm also glad you didn't find any army worms, building army works on the farm, while you were lloking !!!!

Army worms are bad. We had them here about 6-8 years ago and destroyed fields over night. The last few years have been wet and no one has seen any.
My issue deserves another thread on a different topic but here is the short story. I have a 2002 GMC 1 ton that I bought new. The rear seal of the transfer case has leaked since almost day one. It has been replaced just about every year and seemed to work for that period. Now it is leaking in the yard, after just a short trip, after being replaced a couple months ago. I replaced the seal, transfer case bushing and transfer case mount and still no luck. The issue seems to be vibration in the drive shaft combined with only a 10 thousand of an inch friction between the seal and yoke. That's the short story. If anyone thinks they might have a answer I will start a new thread on a different heading.

NoBull1, how's the runout on the shaft. When you mentioned vibration, I first thought of imbalance. I use to balance all rotating assemblies our my place of employment. The first step always prior to balancing is to check the rotating assembly runout. It's real hard to balance a crooked shaft.

Speaking of leaks at the tank, when i got my used 2006 900 home i went through it front to back checking it over changing all fluids especially after i tracked down the orignal owners and asked and was told they did all the fluid changes, motor and trans
well i found eight different places to change fluids and in doing so i removed the hyd tank since the drain is above the bottom of the tank giving a place for cruid to settle. I knew better but i reused the clamps on hoses, most of the time clamps will deform when used and will not reseal hoses when reused, and i got a drip drip after awhile so i got new clamps and got that taken care of, didnt want my bota acting like a Harley.
