Hello everyone
Been reading posts for a while. Looking to buy a Kubota rtv1100. My sister has a 2007 with hydraulic dump and a snow plow run with a winch. Everything looks ok checked floor boards some surface rust no holes. Anything else I should look for? She wants 6000. Is this a good price? Thanks for any advice.

6k for an 1100 sounds like a great price. Lowest I've seen for a closed cab model. Hours can be a consideration but the RTV can do a whole lot of hours as long as it's serviced regularly.
If she is the original owner I would not hesitate. if in doubt take it to your local Kubota dealer and have it gone over. It would be worth the cost to ensure all it okay. These little workhorses are so handy. You'll love it if you get it.

Agreed with everything mentioned, including it being a great price.
My question to toss in is how's your relationship with your sister? There's a old saying (in my family) is you don't buy vehicles from family members. If something goes wrong with the machine after the sale, will it be detrimental to the relationship? If you're good with each other, even if something goes wrong, I'd pursue it.

Got a good relationship her husband passed and he was very particular about upkeep and maintenance so it should be in pretty good shape but if something were to happen so be it. I figure its 15 years old so may need some tlc. I'm a vehicle tech so maybe I could repair any problems hopefully.

One thing to be aware of, the RTV's are designed to be work horses and the top speed is low compared to other side by sides. Top speed in the 25mph neighborhood. Plus you will need to stop and put it in M or L to go up hills. It is not a speed demon, far from it. But it is very dependable fun and handy vehicle to have around. I use mine just about daily.

Another note, you've probably seen elsewhere on here, always use Kubota Super UDT hydro fluid and Kubota filters. You'll be glad you did.

Picked up today 994 hours. Everything seems to work good only thing seen was small rust hole in bed. Don't know how I missed it. Axle boots good u-joints good. One tire dry cracked. Will try to get pics and load them.

Good for you. I bet you will love it - even if it needs a bit of work. I am not familiar with the pre X series, but it sure has good pedigree!

Congrats. that would be very low hours for that year. Sounds fantastic. Look forward to the pics. Let me know if you have trouble posting the pics, we might be able to help.

Looks like a cream puff. Very nice. And you already have a riding partner. Yay.

Gotta get 4 tires all dry rot. Need a windshield washer nozzle and fuel sender bad other than that everything works good. Was surprised air still worked. Also need antennae for radio. Well pleased should be a work horse for me. Will save hours on the lx2610
