Float on 455

Anyone fitted the float option to the hydraulic valve on a Deere?
The 'kit' is ordered, is it just a case of unbolting the existing end cap off the valve and fitting the float one if you see what I mean?
Any special tools needed?
4 is the normal spring center, 7 is the float detent kit.

I think some tractors came standard with one spool float detent and the other spring center, but some tractors had both spring center.

This one has both as spring center. It has a powered broom on the front, and when you go up hills it lifts the front wheels off the ground, down hill and the broom lifts off the ground. Really needs the float!
The kit was ~$65

Just an update, the float kit really is just a bolt on affair. Just got to screw a machined rod onto the end of the spool, and then fit the new cap with the detent balls.
I did have to adjust the lever so it went all the way into float, but no big deal.
Why they fitted a spool machined for float, and then didnt fit the detent kit is beyond me though
