CV Drive Shaft Boot Replacement

Can anyone help tell me where I can buy replacement drive shaft boots for a Kubota RTV 900 and RTV 1190 please.

Obviously, Kubota doesn't sell the boots individually. There are companies that sell complete drive shafts at reasonable prices. With a little more information we can help. Which boot is ripped? What year and model do you have?

I have a ripped outer boot on the rear on a RTV 900. Not 100% sure of year but around 2016. I can chase up serial no’s ect next time I am at the property if needed. It’s a shame to replace a perfectly good shaft because one boot is ripped.

New Member - I have a 2014 RTV-X900 and the right rear outer CV boot split. I called my Kubota dealer which is 50 miles away and they wanted $100 and had to order the part. I also clicked both links above. One company wanted $100 and the other only had a Universal for $25 but it was unavailable. I've been searching the internet over an hour for some reason no one has the rear outer CV boots. Any Ideas? The only think I can think of to do next is pull the old one off and set it on a NAPA parts counter.
 
I've tried a number of aftermarket sites, however they won't confirm they will fit Kubota axles. I find this really odd. Image going to Napa Auto parts and they only sold OEM part.
 
Update - I've tried the Universal Split Boots from O'Reilly's and I'm not real happy with the results. The Inboard boot is marginally acceptable. The worm style clamp on the big end of the outboard boot hits the Knuckle Housing and simply will not work. I have some steel tie-wraps and will try that this morning. Once I get the project complete, I will post a video on my YouTube channel.
 
Second Update - The Universal Split boots are and absolute failure. While I can make them fit, they simply won't last. Starting over with my boot search. (BTW - Wife said I should have just bought the $100 Kubota boots.
 
Third Update - I went back to Kubota (Did Not Go Well). I was informed that, based on my units serial number, neither the inner or outer boots were available and I would have to buy a new axle assembly. At which time I expressed my opinion and I don't think they will want me coming back to their facility.

Not being one that quits, I did my own research. I took the old boots and measured them, search for "CV Boot Size Chart". I found a site in Europe that gave me a ton of information which I took to NAPA. The clerk was able to find both boots which will be here in 2 days for a total of $55 for both. If it works out, I will post the part numbers.
 
I finally finished. The challenge was the top (inside) boot. It's a tri-lobe instead of the round typical CV joint. The bottom boot is straight forward, the NAPA part is 6862375 and is about $29. It crosses to a bunch of cars and I found it listed on Rockauto for under$20.

The top boot I had to use a universal split boot. Bailcast CVS18. I bought it on Amazon for $20. The issue I had was the picture on Amazon , as well as the OEM box, show a tri-lobe fitment. But it's very misleading. You have to cut off and retain the tri=lobe portion of the old boot to make it work. but it does work. I've run the unit for a few hours just to make sure and it's still in place.

I have a YouTube channel (so my grandkids can see me more often) and I put both videos up, the first was a failure, but the second was getting the job done sort of successfully. Which goes along with one of my mottos, Right Answer - Wrong Method.
