We bought gas at Sam's in Monroe Louisiana for $2.88. It has been a while since gas has been this low. But I cant help remembering when I was young I would pay $.22.

We are paying around $1.20 a litre here in Southern Ontario, Canada. I think there is 3.9 litres to a US gallon so that works out to about $4.68 a gallon.

Pump prices are running about $3.27 here.

That said, our grocery store offers fuel discounts for groceries purchased. Each $50 in groceries gets you 10 cents off per gallon (max 30 gallons). Used them up last week and got mid-grade gas for $1.89 per gallon.

Brookshires does the gas rebates here but since we are 65 miles from Brookshires gas we take the discount on groceries. We are 18 miles from a small Brookshires.
