3510 shuttle shift question

recently it's become more difficult to shift into reverse without the shuttle either popping back out or grinding the gears, neither of which I like.
Is there a linkage adjustment or something that needs cleaned/lubed?
Any suggestions or advice will be taken gladly!
 
Just thinking outside the box, lube the shuttle shifting rod going into the gearbox, adjust the clutch if u have excessive play and howz ur fluid level?.

Oops:pat:..........................time for a new tractor.:clap: Honestly, besides adjusting the clutch linkage I haven't a clue.:idea::confused2:
